About Lydia
I co-founded and run my school’s debate club and run an academic student support team, where I help other students with their studies. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain ideas clearly, adapt to different people and make learning more engaging.
I want to use this experience to help GCSE students with Biology and Chemistry, focusing not only on understanding the content, but also on active recall, application, exam technique and learning how to consistently maximise marks.

Each lesson will be around 40 minutes, tailored to the student’s individual needs and current level. We’ll focus on thoroughly understanding key concepts, followed by active recall to strengthen memory and exam technique to help students apply their knowledge effectively.
Having helped many students at my school with Maths and Biology, I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive and focused on building both knowledge and confidence. Lessons are suitable for GCSE students aged 14-16.
