About Philopater
Hi! My name is Philopater and I’m currently a Year 10 student. I enjoy Math, Science and English and I’m passionate about helping younger students improve their understanding and confidence.
As a current student, I understand that some topics can be difficult or confusing, so I focus on explaining things in a simple and easy-to-understand way. I’m patient, friendly and happy to go through questions step-by-step until the student feels comfortable with the topic.
I offer personalized 1-on-1 online tutoring for K–7 students, including homework help, revision, test preparation and general support. My goal is to make learning less stressful and help every student feel more confident in their schoolwork.

My lessons are designed to be friendly, engaging and personalised to each student. I provide 1-on-1 online tutoring for K–7 students in Maths, English and Science.
I focus on making difficult topics easy to understand by breaking them down into simple steps and working through examples together. Lessons can also include homework help, revision, test preparation and extra practice on areas the student finds challenging.
My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to make sure they understand how and why they got it. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes and build confidence in their abilities.
Lessons can be adjusted to suit each student's level, learning style and goals.
