About Samith

Hello! I'm a Year 13 student at Auckland Grammar School, where I'm in the highest academic class (7A). I know how difficult mathematics can be since I have struggled with it myself. I improved greatly by creating efficient study techniques and plans, and earned an A (the highest grade possible) in mathematics at the AS level. I now want to assist others in becoming more confident and competent, whether the student wants to get ahead, catch up, or prepare for an exam.

About the lesson

I tailor each session to the student’s needs—whether it’s help with homework, test and exam preparation, or learning ahead. I break down topics, work through examples step by step, and make sure students feel confident before moving on. A typical lesson lasts 1 hour, which includes a mix of concept explanation, worked examples, and practice problems. I also provide tips on exam techniques and time management, as needed. I offer tutoring for Cambridge AS level and below for years 9, 10, and 11, for maths and biology.
