About

Hi! I’m a 17-year-old student (I will be starting college this upcoming fall) who truly loves English — especially reading and writing. Ever since I was younger, I’ve enjoyed exploring stories, playing with words, and expressing myself through writing. Because of this passion, I want to share that love of language with kids and help them build strong skills in reading, writing, and grammar. I really enjoy working with children and believe that learning should be fun, engaging, and encouraging. I’m patient, friendly, and dedicated to creating lessons that are tailored to each child’s pace and interests. My goal is to help students feel confident in their abilities while making the process enjoyable. I’m excited to be your child’s online tutor and support their growth every step of the way!

About the lesson

Hello! OK so, I know that all kids are different, and not all of my teaching methods will be the same for each kid. Every child has a different learning technique. No matter how long it may take, I will do my absolute best to tailor my lessons and practice to what your child will be most comfortable with. My biggest priority at all times will be the child's education and what they ask of me. I myself am a very shy person when it comes to meeting new people, but with the right words and techniques, I find myself opening up to whomever it may be. I want to create a safe space for your child to be completely themselves in which they feel their best, and don't hesitate to ask me any questions. It is sort of a challenge to keep young kids interacted at all times, so the lessons will not be so packed on all the time. I definitely want to give some breaks and maybe ask some questions about their daily lives and what they are like in school if the parent is okay with that. I want the child to be familiar with me, and consider me a friend rather than some random person that is just here to be annoying and talk about work all the time. I intend to make my lessons more fun and carefree so I have the child's attention at all times. If anything goes wrong or if the child is not doing well and taking a while to cooperate, I will reach out to the parent and hopefully whatever is wrong can be worked out. We all have that inner Einstein brain, it just needs the right learning methods to see the light!
