About Jessenia
Hello, I am a 22-year-old medical student that enjoys learning and teaching. I have been tutoring for many years with a range of knowledge from different exam boards.
I hope with this knowledge and experience I can give students the confidence to be independent learners with clear expectations about the subject. Providing fun and effective ways of learning to discover the best learning skill for each individual student. I always try to understand best ways to make all of my students interested in the subject and structure every lesson uniquely.

I have given tutor lessons to individuals and groups of three students at 11+, KS3, and GCSE and offer friendly, relaxed lessons. I have many years of tutoring with other companies and personal tutoring for family friends. I started tutoring in Year 11 with tutoring in my school for Spanish, In addition, I have successfully home-schooled students, and taught them through the KS3 stage through to GCSE.
In Sixth Form, I tutored Year 8, 9,10, and 11 students in Biology and Chemistry for GCSEs.
My lesson plans focus specifically on what my pupil is finding difficult and at end of each lesson, we will do practice questions related to the specific topic and exam board, to check for understanding of the lesson. Lessons are goal-oriented, with a friendly and sturdy environment. I use PowerPoint and animations to provide the best way for information to be presented in multiple ways. I provide different forms of resources specific to each subject.
