About Katelyn
I want to teach students at such a young age because I am still familiar with the subject's syllabus and I want to make Chinese a subject that students don’t hate to study and actually find joy in learning. For many Singapore students, they find Chinese a very difficult subject because they totally dislike it due to the lack of usage and understanding, but I believe that with the right nurturing and guidance from the right teacher, students would be able to sail far with this subject.

Hi! I’m Katelyn, a 16-year-old student who enjoys helping primary school children improve their Chinese. I’m very familiar with the current syllabus and have hands-on experience teaching my three younger siblings.
I know Chinese can feel difficult and stressful, so I focus on being patient, encouraging, and making lessons easier to understand. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve step by step, and not feel afraid of the subject.
