About Lexi
Hi, I'm Lexi! I'm a well rounded 17 year old student who attends clubs, volunteers, works part-time at Starbucks, and continues to excel in school. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and attend 2 AP classes as well as a college English class, so I'm well versed in many subjects but especially English and Language Arts. I also thrive when it comes to standardized testing and have always consistently passed every state test and quarterly. When it comes to higher education, I am already a third of the way to my Associate's degree and should graduate high school come next year with my AA. I truly am a social butterfly and love kids because I too am a kid at heart. I believe a bond should be established in order to effectively connect with a child through teaching and that is what I set out to do first and foremost. My lessons are never anything less than fun! I am sure to provide a comfortable atmosphere where learning can flourish. I build strong bonds with the kids I work with so they trust me and feel comfortable not always knowing the right answer. I tell my students right away that it is okay to make mistakes as long as we learn from them. Growth doesn't come from perfection, it comes from stumbling at first but brushing yourself off and getting right back up.
