22 Year Old Politics and Economics Graduate - Maths tutor with Matthew

Matthew did not mentor me - this is an academic and character reference. He graduated this year in the BA (Economic and Social Studies) (Hons) degree programme with a 2(i). He was an engaging student to work with and had an enthusiastic approach to his studies. Matthew strikes me as more than satisfying the expectations you would have for a potential tutor. He is thoughtful and level-headed, and given the expertise developed during the degree would be more than capable of tutoring Maths up to GCSE and Politics up to A-level.

Matthew completed the UN award winning leadership programme ParliaMentors during his final year at university.
He was mentored by a local MP, received 10 days of tailored training and delivered a social action project to improve the lives of people locally.
Across the successful year some of the key characteristics that I observed contributed to his success were reliability when working as part of a group friendliness and patience with people he met locally that he was working to help and educate and innovative thinking to explain solutions.
