About Eloïse

I am a high school student, after having my school certificate with honors, I now offer courses of biology which is a subject which has always interested me and on which I have solid knowledge. I wanted to be a veterinarian throughout my childhood, and I did my 9th year internship position (in France we have to do one) with a veterinarian. I have always had a great interest in this subject, and I often explain chapters that can be complex to relatives, friends, other students.

About the lesson

Je base ma méthodologie tout d'abord sur la discussion, la confiance et la mise en valeur de la curiosité car ce sont des points clés de l'apprentissage d'après moi.

My philosophy concerning teaching is to prioritize dialogue, trust and to focus on your curiosity because I believe these are the keys to developp knowledge and skills in a safe and effective way.

My approach regarding biology is not fixed, but rather adapts to your needs and requests. Thus, I can offer different supports such as "schoolish" approaches (modeling, document studies, scientific approaches, ...) or more free/progressive approaches (games, video, multiple representations depending on your memory type , etc.) and other supports depending on the interests and objectives of the student. Biology is the study of the living creatures and the Earth, and consequently a study of what surrounds us. I want to highlight what you already know without even being concious of it, and consolidate it so you can deepen it. Biology is a subject too often made barbaric by courses in college, school, or high school going too fast or without sufficient individualization; I seek to remove this label and put all my attention on the understanding of the methods and phenomena that constitutes biology.
