About Caoimhe

My name is Caoimhe and I have been teaching for over 16 years. I started off in the Early Years sector, as I always had a passion for working with children. After graduating from University, I travelled to Canada and worked in an English Language college. I taught English as a second language, and also helped those who were already proficient with the language, to prepare for their state exams and University applications. I found, throughout my time there, that by working closely with students and making sure you listen to them and their needs, you could achieve incredible results. I teach because I love the feeling of helping a student succeed. I like to think that I have helped many students achieve their educational goals, or atleast aided them on their road to success.
I became a mother last year and so have taken up a position as a Montessori Teacher which allows me to continue my passion for teaching and also spend more time with my son. As a parent, I understand the stress parents are under to ensure their children live a happy and reach their personal goals.

About the lesson

Each student is an individual and learns as such, and so I strive to create lesson plans that suit each students personal needs. I consider myself to be a fun and innovative tutor who can make learning easier for students. Each lesson will be planned according to the students goals, and I plan those lessons by getting to know how my students learn, and identifying both their strengths and their weaknesses so we can work together.
