About Sarah
Aside from helping children, I love art, baking, travel, my dogs, music, and spending time with my family. I graduated from saint Mary’s academy in the spring of 2024 and decided to take a gap year and defer my admission to Scripps college, in Southern California, until fall 2025. I have always excelled in my academics, graduating high school with a 4.3 gpa. I am skilled in math, having taken honors courses throughout high school, English, chemistry, and art, also having taken honors and and ap courses.

My method as a tutor is to explain and show to a student how to work through problems and then to have them try it on their own. My goal is for children to feel motivated to attempt problems but not forced to do so without help. I am comfortable tutoring young children, around 4, up to kids around age 11 or 12. One of my biggest assets is that I am able to help tutor through multiple mediums. I can talk through a problem, draw or write it, and I believe in using whatever method a student learns best through to ensure they truly learn the best methods to improve their confidence in their academics.
