About Katie

Hello! My name is Katie and I am a 22 year old female currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Liverpool John Moore’s University. I am now in the 3rd and final year of my bachelors degree. I have A-levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics. Unlike most people who are good at maths , I am a very warm and approachable person ! I have a younger brother and two stepdaughters whom I spend lots of time with and I love to help shape young minds ️. I am very well versed in mathematics and physics at this point and would love to pass on my knowledge. I feel that students aged 12-16 would benefit greatly from my help. Unlike some of my peers, I wasn’t always good at maths and science , so I know what it’s like to have difficulty understanding these subjects. I feel that the learning journey I have been on myself makes me the perfect person to help younger students to stop being afraid of maths and science like I was. About the lesson

I am a warm and approachable person and I am confident that I will create a relaxed learning environment for any student that seeks my help ! I am a good listener and very easy to talk to. If you are unsure of where to start I am confident that I will be able to identify the areas in which you are struggling and put together appropriate lesson plans. On the other hand , if there are specific areas that you want to focus on I will absolutely cater to those needs. I can also put together university level revision plans and equip you with the current most effective revision techniques in preparation for your exams.
