About Maud
I am a 29 years old diplomat and yogi and I have been teaching Spanish and French for over 6 years. Having studied, worked and lived in South America, Europe, the Middle East and Canada, I hold 3 nationalities and I consider myself a world citizen. I currently live in Montreal, Canada.
I hold a Bachelor in International relations and a certificate in teaching French as a second language. I am also a certified Yoga teacher.
I have been described as a dynamic, colourful and fun teacher. I am truly passionate about transmitting what I know, and even more about connecting and helping my students feel confident about their learning-skills.

I teach in a playful way and make sure that my classes are interactive, multidimensional and culturally relevant. For me, language is not just about the words but also about the culture it originates from - music, cinema, food and more. I make sure to tailor my classes to your needs, objectives and style of learning.
As a yogi, I strive for balance, flexibility, consistency and harmony in my life and in my classes too. My moto is "work hard, play hard, and have fun while doing it all."
A typical lesson plan will include a variety of fun exercices - phonetics, grammar, also interesting conversations, culturally relevant input and elements of surprise so you won't fall in the trap of habit and will stay engaged.
My classes are from anyone, from 1 to 99 years old, and for beginner to intermediate level.
