About Eliot
My entire life I was put in advanced placement English classes whenever they were available. I seem to have a natural gift with languages, but English is where my knowledge truly lies and it's rare for me to not have an answer to any question relating to spelling or grammar! My parents are actually European immigrants who didn't want to teach me "broken English," as they put it. That was the best choice they could've made, because I truly started my foundation on the English language when I started school. Of course, they put me in an ESL class. As a result of my beginnings to English coming from a proper workbook, which I actively enjoyed completing every day, I can now confidently begin using that knowledge to help others learn. I hope to inspire a similar level of interest in my students.

My lessons are generally going to be for people who already have at least near fluency, but struggle with proper grammar and spelling. I'll help you learn all the rules (and exceptions!), but in an age appropriate way. To put it another way, you'll never feel like an ignorant 1st grader while learning English with me. Everybody has a journey, and I'm here to help you feel more confident in social/professional situations! :)
