About Ahmed
Hi. I am currently a Year 1 MEng Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Southampton Malaysia who has received the Top Achiever merit scholarship to study there. I also like Math a lot, so much so that I started learning beyond the syllabus using the internet when I was an A Level student. I also have a YouTube channel where I do past paper solving videos and topical videos for A Level Maths and Further Maths. This is also the reason behind my motive to take A Level Further Maths, despite joining my year group 6 months late. I believe that anyone can excel at Maths with the right guidance and techniques. Having joined my year group late and still managing to excel in my exams, I can be of great help to students who are in a similar situation and do not know where to start. In fact, I helped one of my own classmates to finally achieve a B in A Level Math after struggling for a long time. This is why I enjoy teaching other people as it gives me a sense of satisfaction of seeing them finally understand a concept that they were struggling to grasp for a long time.

I conduct my lessons online on Google Meet for students doing CIE A Level Maths 9709 (Pure Maths 1, Pure Maths 3, Mechanics, Probability and Statistics 1) and CIE A Level Further Maths 9231 (All 4 components). Lessons are 1-2 hours long and I teach using selected past year paper questions from previous years as well as relevant questions from other exam boards that I can find. As for learning the content, I will use the official syllabus document and approved textbooks. I scored A* for both A Level Maths and Further Maths and helped my classmates to achieve higher grades.
