About Yvette
I'm currently an elementary school teacher for 23 years. Previously, I've taught middle school math and language arts for 10 years. I was a Reading and Language Arts Building Coach for other teachers for several years. I'm proud to say that my students always out perform the state's average on standardize test. I contribute their success not only to my patience and methodical way of teaching, but to the rapport I established with the students and families.

My tutorial sessions are based on the needs of the student. I will give a pre-assessment to determine the student's weaknesses. I also work with the student's current school's curriculum and support the student with strategies to better understanding the concepts needed to master the skill.
