About Hivda
Whilst the current system in place at schools and education worked for me, I found that a lot of my friends - who were extremely intelligent - were being robbed of the opportunity to achieve high grades due to the method of testing which just doesn't work for everyone. However, I found that the system was very formulaic, and I decided that I wanted to help anyone I can achieve these grades that actually reflected their capabilities within their subject area. Sometimes - not always! - school can kill children's passion for a subject as it can be demoralising to not achieve the way you want to. However, after learning a few methods to cope with and approach the style of exam testing, I believe school can become fun again for students who feel under lots of pressure; this is what I aim to teach.

I believe that one set style of learning is not applicable to suit everyone's needs, and expecting this to be the case - such as schools do - is often unrealistic. Everyone's minds work and interpret things in different ways - some may prefer visuals, some oral, some auditory etc etc. However it may be, there is a way to reach out to everyone out there, and every student is more than capable. I make sure to approach things as methodically and clearly as possible, and I have a lot of experience with my younger siblings who are currently at GCSE and SATs level, and therefore I am extremely patient and understanding. I just want to help those who struggle with a bit of extra support to help them gain confidence in their abilities, and I am happy to go over the same topic multiple times - it is up to the teacher to find a solution to adhere to the students' needs and areas of confusion. I'm extremely sociable and I hope to build a rapport with all those that I teach! I achieved 7 grade 9s at GCSE and 2 grade 7s, and I am currently predicted three A* at A-Level; I'm more than happy to help whether that be lesson format, past papers, mocks etc. Sociology can be difficult, but it is one of the subjects I am best at, and I am confident I can change things for those who are struggling with it.
