About Peter

Struggling with maths and losing confidence? I can help you turn it around.
I specialise in helping Year 7–10 students who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start. Many of my students understand more than they think — they just need the right support to build confidence and apply it under pressure.
My sessions focus on:

Breaking down concepts step-by-step
Rebuilding confidence and independence
Helping students go from “I don’t get it” → “I can do this”

I support students who:

Feel anxious in exams
Have fallen behind and don’t know how to catch up
Understand in class but struggle to apply concepts

With a Bachelor of Engineering and experience aligned to the NSW curriculum, I use a clear, structured approach that makes maths easier to understand and retain.
I also offer support for senior maths (HSC pathways).

About the lesson

Falling behind in maths or lacking confidence? This is where we fix it.
My lessons are designed for Year 7–10 students who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to improve. I focus on rebuilding confidence and making maths feel simple and manageable again.
Each 60-minute session is structured to help students catch up quickly and start thinking independently.
What each lesson includes:
• Targeted revision of problem areas
• Clear, step-by-step explanations
• Guided practice with support
• Independent application to build confidence
My teaching style:
• Calm, supportive, and pressure-free
• Focused on reducing anxiety and building confidence
• Structured to create real progress week by week
I especially help students who:
• Feel anxious during tests
• Have fallen behind in class
• Understand concepts but can’t apply them
Lessons are available:
• Online (Microsoft Teams)
• Face-to-face (local students)
I also offer support for senior maths (HSC pathways).
