About Astri
I am a Yale University student who has tutored for the past three years to elementary, middle, and high school students. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and received a 1530 on my SAT. I like to adjust my teaching method based on what the student needs. For math, I usually like to take difficult questions and make simpler questions really tackle the root of the difficulty. I also like to create a step-by-step guide for one question that can be used as a blueprint. For English, I love close reading exercises to ensure the student is set for success from their first reading of a text, and I provide extensive comments on essays to quickly improve them.
