My teaching approach is centered on making complex concepts simple, practical, and easy to remember. As a clinical coordinator at Yale and a former adjunct professor who taught Anatomy & Physiology at the university level, I bring both academic and real-world scientific experience to my teaching. I believe students learn best when they understand the “why” behind a concept rather than simply memorizing facts.
I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning needs, whether they prefer visual explanations, step-by-step problem solving, practice questions, discussions, or real-life examples. I use diagrams, simplified explanations, active recall, practice problems, and exam-style questions to help students build both understanding and confidence.
A typical lesson begins by identifying the student’s goals and reviewing concepts they find challenging. We then break difficult topics into manageable sections, work through examples together, and apply the concepts through practice questions or problem-solving. I finish each lesson with a quick review of key takeaways and suggestions for independent practice.
What sets me apart is my combination of university-level teaching experience, clinical research experience, and a strong STEM background. I have taught Anatomy & Physiology in a university setting and currently work in a clinical research environment at Yale. This allows me to connect textbook concepts to real-world applications and help students understand how science is used beyond the classroom.
I work with high school, undergraduate, and graduate students depending on their needs. I can support students in Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, general and life sciences, STEM subjects, and mathematics, as well as students preparing for exams or navigating college and university applications. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them become more confident, independent learners.
