About Mihlali
I am a University student, studying film, screenwriting and scrip twriting. I have a background in facilitating writing camps, and I am a writer myself. From as long as I can remember, I used reading and writing as a coping mechanism and the English language as a defence method because growing up I had a stutter and somehow I knew that in order for me to get people to want to listen to me I had to be confident in the way I spoke, express myself through writing.
I grew with the passion for reading and writing, until I discovered creative writing in High school and I got to express myself creatively with ease. My writing in general improved and so did my grades.
Without realising it, I was no longer using reading and writing to escape but I used it to express myself and be heard.

In my lessons, we value creativity and self expression. Be it you are a beginner and you can only speak native languages like IsiXhosa and IsiZulu, I can teach you to be more proficient in English.
