About Ryleigh
Hello! I'm Ryleigh, a tutor specializing in English (Reading and Writing) for middle school and high school students.
First and foremost, I'm a writer and a student myself, passionate about English. Whether you're struggling with these subjects or already enjoy them, my goal is to help you build confidence, deepen your understanding, and hopefully grow to love learning them even more.
As a news writer for 8 years and a creative writer for more, I've developed effective writing and reading strategies that helped me excel academically and communication-wise, and I'm excited to share those methods with my students.
I teach with zero judgment. Learning isn't a race, and everyone progresses at their own pace. If a concept takes a little longer to understand, that's completely okay! That's exactly what I'm here for. My priority is to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing with confidence.

I believe every student learns differently, so I create personalized lesson plans based on a diagnostic pre-test and a google form for each student to fill out based on their learning style, strengths, and interests. By connecting lessons to topics they enjoy, I aim to make learning both engaging and effective.
To support steady improvement, I provide progress tracking for both the students and the guardians to monitor, practice quizzes, review notes after each lesson, and homework help between sessions. I also use memory techniques such as mnemonics and active recall to help students understand and retain challenging concepts.
