About Isabelle
Hi there - thanks for stopping by! :D
I'm Isabelle - an enthusiastic, imaginative and approachable geology tutor! I hold a first class MSc in Earth Sciences from the University of Geneva (Switzerland) and a first class BSc in Geology from the University of Manchester (United Kingdom). During all these years of study, I have really enjoyed building up my geological knowledge, completing two independent research projects, and attending numerous field courses (no thanks to Covid!).
Having been in these shoes myself, I understand the difficulties presented to GCSE, A-level and further education students. Whether it is preparing for fieldwork, completing coursework, or revising for exams, I would like to provide a friendly, professional and welcoming space to work through any problems you may be having with your current Geology work, as well as practical, easy-to-remember solutions.

These tutoring sessions would be a friendly and open space for you to bring forward any difficulties you are having with topics in Geology, and for us to work through them together at your own pace. Remember: ** there is no such thing as a stupid question ** !!! Having held teaching intern and student mentor positions in the past, I am accustomed to utilising a wide set of techniques to clearly explain tricky concepts, and would aim to provide easy and memorable tips and tricks for problem solving.
