About Alison
I am a primary school teacher with over 25 years experience in inner city schools in London.
I have helped lots of children get through Key Stage 2 SATS with minimum stress.
I have also administered the phonics screening tests on many occasions.
I have also supported students working towards the 11+ examinations.
I have worked as an online tutor and reading tutor in schools in recent years.

My approach is to go over concepts again and again - the little and often dripping tap approach! If you go over it enough, chances are it will eventually go in! It's very important that pupils feel comfortable and confident when approaching new concepts. I think I help to instill in them a "can do" philosophy.
