Hi, I’m Previn — a professional drummer with close to 10 years of experience, and a worship team drummer with over 15 years of serving in church bands and live worship settings. Throughout my career, I have developed strong technical skills and a deep understanding of how to play with intention, heart, and musicality. My passion is helping drummers grow both their ability and confidence to play effectively in worship teams. I bring real-world experience from diverse musical environments, combined with a patient and encouraging teaching style that meets you where you are. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills for worship ministry, I am dedicated to helping you become a skilled, reliable, and inspired worship drummer. About the lesson

As a worship drummer with over 15 years of experience serving on church teams, my goal is to help drummers not just play beats, but serve the music, the team, and the moment with heart and confidence.

My approach is hands-on, practical, and tailored to the worship setting. I focus on things that matter in real-life church environments: dynamics, following the leader, playing with click tracks, building flow, transitions, and supporting the team with intentional playing.

A typical lesson includes:

-Warm-ups and groove drills
-Understanding the how worship drumming works
-Song-based exercises using popular worship tracks
-Click track practice and tempo control
-Transitioning between time signatures
-How to lead the team as a drummer
-Techniques to lock in with a band and flow with spontaneous moments
-Worship buildups
-Discussions on mindset, musicality, and spiritual responsibility as a worship drummer

What sets me apart is my real-world experience playing professionally in various styles, along with playing in worship services weekly for over 15 years. I know what it's like to handle live transitions, sudden key changes, and serving both skilled and volunteer-led teams — and I bring that experience into every lesson.
