About Mohamed

Hello, my name is Mohamed Ali, and I am a qualified teacher with a strong passion for helping students achieve their academic goals. I believe that every student has the ability to succeed when given the right support, encouragement, and learning strategies.

I hold teaching qualifications from Fiji and have completed teacher training and practicum experience in New Zealand, including teaching at Southland Boys’ High School in Invercargill. My academic background also includes qualifications in Information Technology and Accounting, providing me with a broad range of knowledge and practical experience.

I specialise in Mathematics, Digital Technologies, Accounting, and Economics. My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. Whether a student requires assistance with classroom learning, assessment preparation, homework support, or building confidence in a subject, I work patiently to help them reach their full potential.

Students and parents can expect professionalism, reliability, and a supportive learning environment. I take the time to understand each learner’s strengths and areas for improvement, provide clear explanations, and monitor progress throughout the learning journey. My goal is not only to improve academic results but also to develop confidence, independent thinking, and a positive attitude towards learning.

I am a qualified teacher with experience teaching Mathematics, Digital Technologies, Accounting, and Economics. My teaching approach is student-centred, practical, and engaging. I believe every learner can succeed when lessons are tailored to their individual needs, learning style, and pace.

My tutoring sessions focus on building confidence, understanding key concepts, and developing problem-solving skills. I use clear explanations, real-life examples, guided practice, and regular feedback to help students achieve their learning goals. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate in lessons to strengthen their understanding.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. Each lesson is carefully planned to meet the student’s specific needs, whether they require support with schoolwork, exam preparation, assignments, or improving their overall academic performance.
