About Juliana
I’m a guitar teacher with over 10 years of experience and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Guitar Studies. My passion lies in helping students sharpen their ears and truly hear the music they play. I believe great guitarists don’t just play notes—they listen deeply and respond with precision. My lessons focus heavily on ear training, tailored specifically for guitarists. We work on transcribing solos, identifying chord progressions by ear, and building the ability to recognize intervals, tones, and patterns. I also help students work toward developing perfect pitch through regular, focused exercises. Whether you're trying to figure out your favorite riff or improvise over complex changes, ear training makes the difference. I’ve seen students gain confidence, speed, and musical intuition by improving their listening skills. Every lesson is interactive, challenging, and designed to connect your ear to your fingers. Each session blends playing technique with practical skills. We’ll cover tuning stability, tone shaping, and how to fix common issues on your own. I help students feel confident handling their guitar and setting it up for the best performance. For the Campfire Strummer, we focus on reliable setups and smooth chord transitions. For the Worship Leader, we make sure your tone and flow are ready for live settings.
You’ll learn how to clean, care for, and understand your instrument with ease. We’ll explore pedal chains, EQ basics, and how to get the sound you hear in your head. My lessons are hands-on, clear, and supportive. With time, you won’t just play well—you’ll sound your best and care for your guitar like a pro.
