About Joseph

I'm a passionate and experienced Physics teacher with over 13 years in the classroom—4 years in the UK and 9 years at a highly respected international school in Kuala Lumpur. I hold a degree in Physics and a PGCE in Secondary Science from the UK, and I specialize in preparing students for success in Cambridge IGCSE (0625) and A-Level (9702) Physics. I believe that great teaching is not just about delivering content—it's about building strong relationships, understanding how each student learns, and guiding them to think critically and independently. Whether a student needs to boost their exam grades or simply gain more confidence in physics, I provide clear, structured, and supportive lessons tailored to their needs. Professional, reliable, and genuinely committed to helping students succeed, I bring energy, empathy, and expertise to every lesson.

About the lesson

I aim to make physics clear, engaging, and relevant. My tutoring approach is tailored to the needs of each student, with a strong focus on building conceptual understanding and developing problem-solving strategies that lead to exam success. I use a range of techniques: step-by-step explanations, interactive questioning, past paper practice, and visual tools to help students grasp complex ideas. I also place emphasis on exam technique such as how to interpret questions, show working clearly, and avoid common mistakes.

With 13 years of teaching experience—4 in the UK and 9 at a leading international school in KL—I provide expert support in Physics (IGCSE, A-Level, 0625 and 9702).
