I believe Biology becomes much easier when you understand the concepts rather than simply memorise them. My teaching approach is personalised to each student’s learning style, current level and academic goals.
I teach GCSE and A-Level Biology using clear explanations, diagrams, real-life examples, active questioning and exam-style questions. I also focus on identifying knowledge gaps and building strong foundations before moving to more advanced topics. Lessons are interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and actively participate rather than simply listen.
Each lesson is typically 60 minutes, with the flexibility to adapt the pace and focus according to the student’s needs. I can also provide exam-focused sessions for revision, past-paper practice and preparation for assessments.
I have 3 years of personalised tutoring experience and hold a BSc in Zoology and B.Ed. I am currently pursuing an MSc in Medical Microbiology, which further strengthens my knowledge and understanding of Biology and related life sciences.
My goal is to make every lesson clear, engaging and purposeful, while helping students become more confident and independent learners.
