About Yara
I have over 7 years of experience teaching piano and hold an Advanced Diploma in Piano Performance. My greatest joy as a teacher is helping students connect emotionally with the music they play. I believe music is more than just notes on a page—it’s a form of expression that can inspire and heal. In my lessons, I focus on building a strong foundation in both theory and technique. Understanding the basics helps students play with confidence and freedom. I tailor each lesson to fit the student’s goals and learning style, whether they want to perform, compose, or simply enjoy playing. I encourage creativity and expression while guiding students through proper finger technique, sight-reading, and rhythm. For those who compose or create, I guide you in developing original music, improvisation, and songwriting.
