About Elise

I teach all types of guitar, including Electric, Acoustic, Classical, Bass, and Jazz. My lessons focus on developing strong technique, musicality, and creativity. I specialize in improvisation, chord voicings, theory application, and songwriting. Each lesson is tailored to suit the student’s goals, whether they are exploring music for fun or preparing for professional performances. I work closely with both youth and adult learners, ensuring everyone feels supported and challenged. Over the years, I have guided students from Beginner to Advanced levels. Many of them have gone on to perform confidently on stage or pursue music professionally. My teaching style is student-centered, combining structured practice, creative exploration, and personalized guidance. I love helping students discover their unique sound while building skills that last a lifetime. Together, we work on technique, expression, and musical understanding. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on developing well-rounded guitar skills while nurturing each student’s passion for music. I start by building a strong foundation in classical, jazz, electric, bass, and acoustic guitar techniques. Body posture and hand positioning are key, so I guide students to play comfortably and avoid strain. Finger independence exercises are included to strengthen dexterity and precision.

I emphasize mental preparation, helping students stay confident and focused before practice sessions, auditions, or recitals. Stage readiness is a core part of my methodology, ensuring students perform with poise and expression. I adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles, whether a student loves exploring rebellious, energetic tunes or intricate fingerstyle pieces.

Creativity and personal expression are encouraged alongside technical mastery. I combine structured practice, improvisation, and musical theory in each session. My goal is to help students excel, enjoy learning, and develop a lifelong connection with the guitar. Every lesson is supportive, engaging, and designed to build confidence step by step.
