About Wisdom
As a passionate chess instructor with more than five years of experience, I have dedicated countless hours to mastering and refining my skills as both a player and a tutor.
Inspired by legendary players like Carlsen and Kasparov, I am thrilled to recommend the strategically rich openings of the Sicilian Defence or the Queen's Gambit. Further, I promote the appreciation of both the middlegame and endgames of various types.
Beyond the intricacies of chess, my teaching approach blends passion and professionalism. My goal is to instil confidence in my students and create a nurturing environment that fosters growth and development. I'm a chess instructor with over five years of experience teaching beginners and intermediate players online. Whether you've just learnt how the pieces move or you're stuck at a rating plateau you can't seem to break through, I can help.
My lessons are built around you. We'll work on what you actually need not a one-size-fits-all syllabus. That might mean drilling tactics until pattern recognition becomes second nature. It might mean pulling apart your middlegame decisions move by move. Or it might mean going right back to the fundamentals and making sure your foundation is solid before we build on it.
I teach online because it works. We can share a board in real time, review your games together, and record sessions so you can revisit key ideas later. No commute, no fixed classroom just focused, one-to-one coaching on your schedule.
Most people come to me for one of two reasons: they're new and don't know where to start, or they've been playing for a while and can't figure out what's holding them back. Either way, I'll give you a clear plan and the tools to follow it.
The first lesson is about finding out where you are. Everything after that is about getting you further.
