About Sonja
I am currently a first-grade teacher in a general ed classroom. In the past, I taught a 3/4 combination class. Before acquiring my credential, I was a paraprofessional in special education for 6 years. I have worked with children of all abilities and backgrounds. I truly enjoy my profession and feel very lucky to be able to go to work each day.

I am of the firm belief that learning happens best when it is meaningful to the student. My lessons are interactive—incorporating kinesthetics and student interest.
