Sylvia is a positive and patient teacher that will adjust to your needs. I had an hour of class with her. We went through the dialogue and vocab of the chapter I am currently learning. It was a bit challenging but I really enjoyed the fact that she tried to mostly use Chinese, instead of English (which is what I need right now). If you are reading this, then I can definitely recommend that you try out her lessons!
We did it over Skype. I like Sylvia's method of teaching, it was very low-stress, and I felt like I learned a lot. I would highly recommend Sylvia if you're looking for a Chinese teacher.
