About Katrina
Hi! I’m a current English A-Level student and soon-to-be English Literature university student. I’ve always loved the subject — from unpacking deeper meanings in poetry to helping others structure clear, confident essays. I achieved an A in my English GCSEs, and working in the classroom has shown me how much I enjoy supporting students one-on-one. I want to teach because I know how frustrating English can feel sometimes, and I believe with the right guidance, anyone can improve and even start to enjoy it. My goal is to make tutoring sessions a relaxed space where you feel comfortable, understood, and motivated to do your best.

As a private tutor, I believe that learning works best when it’s tailored to you. Everyone has a different way of understanding texts, writing essays, or preparing for exams — and my goal is to meet you where you’re at. With experience as a teacher assistant in A-Level English and a strong academic background, I bring both knowledge and patience to every session. Whether you’re aiming to boost your confidence, refine your analysis, or just make sense of tricky texts, I’ll adapt my teaching to suit your learning style — making lessons focused, friendly, and genuinely helpful.
