About Shells
I grew up in an English-speaking household and attended English-medium schools throughout my educational journey. With a strong foundation in both spoken and written English, I also completed my Bachelor’s degree in English from a reputed institution in Shillong, Meghalaya.
Although I went on to pursue my Master’s degree in another discipline, the strong English skills I developed throughout my education continued to benefit me greatly and helped me perform well academically.
During my Master’s, I began tutoring English to students following the Cambridge and IB curricula. The response has been incredibly positive, with encouraging feedback and reviews from students and parents.
I have always been passionate about reading and writing, and I would love the opportunity to share that love for English with others. My aim is not only to help students improve their English skills, but also to help them become more confident in using the language.

Classes are planned according to each student’s level, with a focus on identifying and improving weaker areas.
Lessons are interactive, engaging, and activity-based, including:
- Reading level-appropriate choice books
- Fun and creative writing activities
- Grammar lessons
- Vocabulary-building exercises
- Speaking and communication practice
Classes are especially suited for young and new learners, with lessons gradually becoming more advanced as their skills and confidence grow. I use simple language and real-life examples with practical activities to make learning enjoyable and easy to understand.
Class duration: 1 hour per day, adjustable according to the student’s needs.
Complete beginners or individuals looking to improve their English skills are invited to reach out. No age limit to happy learning!
