About Erica
I am an earth Science fanatic! I received my Bachelor's Degree in Geology from Williams College, and received my post-graduate Gemology degree from the Gemological Institute of America in Manhattan. In college, I spent a year abroad in New Zealand learning cartography and practicing field-based geology to help bolster my understanding of Earth Sciences. I have 10+ years experience working in the mineralogical and gemological field, and 4+ years in college level geological field work. I am a new tutor but feel as though I have a unique understanding of all earth sciences from my hands-on education.

I have Bachelor's Degree in Geology and have a comprehensive understanding of earth science of all levels. For me, the most important thing about teaching earth sciences is helping students to understand why science (particularly geology) is important and relevant to their lives. I always take note of what the student is struggling with and strive to break down information so that each student can learn in their own way. I love geology and I want to show students of all ages why it is such an incredible and important discipline.
