About Kerim
I am a professional tutor with a B.S. in Wildlife Science, NREMT certification, and a strong background in biological sciences. During my undergraduate studies, I gained extensive experience in ecology, zoology, botany, anatomy, and biological research. My education provided me with a strong foundation in scientific principles, research methods, organismal biology, and environmental systems.
Throughout my academic career, I conducted wildlife research studying beaver populations in the Adirondack region and eastern cottontail rabbits in upstate New York. These experiences allowed me to apply scientific concepts through field research, data collection, ecological analysis, and hands-on observation of wildlife behavior and biology.
In addition to my academic and research background, I serve in the military as an NREMT and have hands-on experience applying anatomy and physiology in real-world situations. Before my military service, I worked on 911 emergency calls in my hometown, where I developed practical skills in emergency medicine and patient care.
I bring both academic and hands-on experience to my lessons, helping students understand not only the facts behind biology but also how scientific concepts apply to the world around us. My goal is to create a professional, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students can build confidence and develop a deeper appreciation for the life sciences.
