About Donovani
"Teaching exists because the mystery of the fretboard requires a guide who has actually been there. Most students think technical drills solve everything, but raw feel matters more than rigid mechanics. After 13 years spent playing in 5 bands and releasing 5 records, I understand exactly how to bridge that gap.
My approach is grounded in the grit of the West Coast touring circuit. I treat your progress like a record production.
You will get direct help with grade exam prep, barre chords, power chords, and electric technique. We will also tackle songwriting, chord transitions, and guitar maintenance. Stay cool, keep practicing, and we will find your sound together like a true disciple of Hendrix."

"Electric guitar tone is the primary engine of every single song we write. We spend time dialing in your sound while analyzing the foundational primary sources of rock history.
Because I hold a Bachelor of Music in Industry from Belmont University, I view every session through the lens of both art and studio reality. My 13 years on the road inform how I help you navigate the fretboard with intent.
Expect a deep dive into the nuances of rhythm and lead playing that keep songs moving forward. I provide a monthly recorded review of your progress so you can track how those techniques evolve over time. These sessions mirror the pressure of live stages and the precision of the studio environment. I really enjoy seeing my students finally capture the specific tone they have been chasing for months."
