About Annalisa
"Teaching exists because the complex rhythms of Latin music often feel inaccessible to outsiders. Many students find that traditional methods fail to capture the soul of bolero or flamenco. I spent 13 years gigging across Australia while refining my own acoustic and electric technique. My path as a self-taught player informs how I break down strumming patterns and reading tabs.
I assist advanced learners and those returning to the instrument after long breaks. Helping self-taught players find organization is my priority. We move through songwriting, tuning, and maintenance with clarity.
Grade exam prep is available for those seeking formal recognition. It is deeply rewarding to see a student finally connect with the pulse of the music. Watching that light of understanding ignite in a student is my favorite part of the day."
