About Melanie
I am a current student at Monmouth University and studying Biology and Secondary Education. I first started off as an English major but decided to change majors after my first semester here. Tutoring provides me with an outlet to enjoy reading and writing, but also encourage others to love it just as much as I do. I have a bunch of pets at home and am always trying to keep busy between work and school! My favorite place to read is at the beach near my house, and my favorite place to write stories is any Starbucks Café I can find! When I'm not working, in school, or tutoring I am spending time with my family and friends trying to create memories that will last a lifetime!

This could involve reading comprehension exercises, writing prompts, or discussing key literature themes. We wrap up by setting goals for the next session and providing extra resources for independent practice. What sets me apart as a tutor is my flexibility and emphasis on building confidence. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to fit their unique pace, whether that means slowing down for detailed explanations or pushing ahead to challenge their skills. I also provide continuous feedback and encouragement to help them feel motivated throughout the learning process.
