About Ethan
With over 7 years of experience and a Doctorate in Vocal Performance, I’ve built a teaching approach rooted in encouragement and ease. I work with adult singers—beginners, hobbyists, and those returning after years away. Every lesson is a space for exploration without judgment. Breathwork, posture, and relaxation form the foundation of my teaching. Mindfulness helps each singer feel grounded and expressive. Together, we’ll develop tone and confidence that carry into everyday life. My students sing everything from Jazz to Blues to Contemporary Adult styles. Whether preparing for a choir or karaoke night, every goal is celebrated. Singing should feel joyful, not stressful. It’s a creative outlet that reconnects us with who we are. Every singer deserves a voice that lasts. My teaching approach supports that goal through simple, healthy habits and consistent technique. Breathwork and posture are at the center of every session. Students learn how to manage breath, resonance, and relaxation for lasting strength. I train singers to maintain stamina for touring, recording, or weekly church performances. Together, we develop routines for pre- and post-performance care to prevent fatigue. Lessons also include recovery strategies and vocal maintenance tips. The focus is always on awareness rather than force. Each student learns what their body needs to perform well. Soloists and ensemble singers alike benefit from individualized coaching.
