About Gunjan

You won’t just blindly repeat notes here. Instead, we slow down to truly feel each Swara until singing becomes a natural expression. From deep Raga theory to light music, there is zero pressure. This patient space allows all ages to grow beautifully.

About the lesson

You won’t be told to just "sing this" and blindly repeat a phrase ten times.
Instead, we slow down. We sit with a single Swara, we listen to its vibration, and we learn to truly feel where it resonates inside us. Only when your mind and breath connect with that note do we move forward. Because once you start hearing and feeling the sound clearly, singing stops being an effort and becomes a natural expression.
Some days, we will dive into the deep science of theory and Shastra, uncovering the beautiful history and structure of a Raga. Other days, we will pick a light composition, a folk song, or a melody you absolutely love, breaking it down piece by piece until you can sing it with your own unique emotion.
There is no rigid curriculum or forced pace here. Whether you are a small child taking your very first steps in music, or an adult looking for a peaceful escape, there is absolutely zero pressure to be perfect. We focus on a steady, beautiful transition—from hesitation to confidence, from stiffness to a smooth, flexible voice.
Most importantly, this space is incredibly patient. You are allowed to hit the wrong notes, make mistakes, ask a hundred questions, and naturally grow into your own unique voice.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
Music has always felt like a natural presence around me, quietly shaping my thoughts long before I fully understood it. While I was always drawn to singing, the real transformation happened during my years at Banasthali Vidyapith. The atmosphere there was alive with musical discipline, positivity, and continuous opportunities.
Being surrounded by daily performances made me realize that I didn’t just want to listen to music; I wanted to study it deeply. This clarity led me to complete my Master’s in Hindustani Classical Vocal as a merit holder. Under the profound guidance of my Guruji, music shifted from being a passion to a life direction, inspiring me to pursue my PhD research and share this vast heritage with others.
