About Eleanor
I love to teach, and to instil a love of learning in my students. I have taught for two years, full time, at a university in Paris (teaching English language and literature to undergraduates) and a school in North London (teaching English language and literature from year 7 to year 12). Since then, I've taught part time at the University of Sussex whilst studying for my PhD. I've just completed my PhD in English Literature, but I don't want to stop teaching! I've tutored since graduating from Cambridge University with a BA in English Literature and an MPhil in English Studies. Over the last six years, I've tutored at A-level, GCSE and 11+ level, and with various leading London agencies. Last year, all of my students attained grades A*, A or B at GCSE level.
