About Scott
I’ve worked with students of all ages, and mentored screenwriters of varying ages. Screenwriting can be fun, but it is hard work. I will help my students navigate the system, while retaining their unique voice and storytelling style—to help their work stand out in a crowded marketplace.

With credits on movies and TV shows on Disney Channel, ABC, MGM, and more, I understand screenwriting on both creative and pragmatic levels.
I will teach the basics in a fun and meaningful way, utilizing the skills I’ve learned as well as what the most talented screenwriters have taught to me.
The key to learning effective screenwriting is understanding basic storytelling along with visual storytelling. The basics can be taught and I will work with my students to pull out what is original about their voice and help them translate that to their written work.
