About Corra
Coraa, a dance performer since her teen years has always been in the forefront to preserve the culture. She was taught and performed with CK Ladzekpo, a master drummer and professor at UC Berkeley, Dimensions Dance Theatre, and at the University of Ghana at Legon. As her career evolved, she presented dance not only as a show but also a healing art. Realizing the healing benefits of African and Afro-Brazilian dance, she started a healing arts organization called Ra Healing Arts and taught people self-healing and a holistic way of life. Integrating fitness, Kundalini Yoga, Chakra Dance as a Yoga, Sound Healing Music her work aligned with a higher purpose. Corra’s purpose is to “Raise the frequency” to liberate the body, mind and Spirit. Currently, She presents dance and music Healing on the stage with Cosmic Music.

I teach dance to raise our frequency, increase energy flow, build strength and be fit. The Zumba class is a fun and creative fitness class that integrates a wide range of dances from West Africa to Brazil. Students learn to relax into the movements of the free-spirited cultural dances. Enjoying the dance workout is more important than getting the step. I teach to give my students a strong foundation based on technique. I tailor each lesson around my student's needs I have level 1, 2, 3 based on how far one wants to advance.
