About Holly
I am an experienced violin instructor with 12+ years of tutoring experience teaching school students, college learners, and working professionals. Music has always been my passion, and I enjoy sharing that passion with students of all ages and experience levels.
My teaching philosophy focuses on building confidence through patience and positive guidance. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, and I tailor every lesson according to the student's goals, strengths, and pace of learning.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have helped numerous students improve their violin skills and develop a deeper understanding of music. Watching students become more confident and expressive in their playing has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.
I focus on developing strong fundamentals while encouraging creativity and musical expression. My aim is to make learning both enjoyable and meaningful for every student.

I follow a student-centered teaching approach that combines kindness, communication, and encouragement. I believe learning music should be enjoyable and rewarding for students of all ages and levels.
In violin classes, I focus on posture, bow control, intonation, rhythm, and musical expression. I break difficult topics into smaller steps and use practical exercises to help students understand concepts more effectively.
I encourage students to practice consistently and provide ongoing support to help them stay motivated. Positive reinforcement plays an important role in my teaching, as I believe celebrating progress encourages continued growth.
Besides violin, I can teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, and rhythm studies. These additional subjects provide students with a strong musical foundation.
My mission is to help students become confident musicians and lifelong lovers of music.
