About Dylan
I am a committed flute tutor with 10 years of experience teaching students from school to college level, and I am passionate about helping them achieve their musical goals. My journey in music has been filled with learning and growth, and I aim to share this knowledge with my students.
Over the years, I have worked with many learners, helping them improve their skills and gain confidence in their performance. One of my proudest achievements has been seeing students take part in competitions and events with confidence and enthusiasm.
My teaching method is simple, practical, and structured, focusing on strong fundamentals such as breathing techniques, finger placement, tone clarity, and consistent practice. I also encourage creativity and enjoyment in learning, as I believe music should be both meaningful and fun. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and inspired to grow.

My teaching methodology for flute is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I believe that every student can learn flute in an enjoyable and structured way when they receive the right guidance.
I begin by understanding each student’s level, interest, and goals so that I can create lessons that are personalized and effective. I motivate students by setting clear and achievable goals and appreciating their progress regularly, which helps them stay confident and focused.
Communication is a key part of my teaching, and I explain breathing techniques, finger placement, posture, and tone production in a simple and clear way. I make sure students understand each concept before moving ahead. With integrity, I guide students step by step and focus on building strong fundamentals.
I provide honest feedback and support their improvement patiently. Creativity helps me design engaging lessons through songs, exercises, and interactive activities. Along with flute, I also teach music theory, rhythm, and listening skills to support complete musical development.
