About Mina
Fun Fact: The best compliment I have ever received is that I have the patience of an angel! Hi, my name is Mina, and I am a university student currently studying Biology, with a strong academic foundation in science, mathematics, and language arts. In high school, I completed several Advanced Placement courses, including AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, AP Spanish, AP Government, AP Literature, and AP Language, and I have also successfully completed Calculus II at the university level. I had a 4.0 GPA and 4.73 weighted GPA. I am most comfortable tutoring elementary, middle school, and high school students. My academic background allows me to support students across a wide range of subjects, including biology, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, reading comprehension, writing, and academic language skills. I focus on building strong understanding through clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and patient, individualized guidance. As a tutor, I value professionalism, preparation, and clear communication. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and developing their academic abilities. I adapt each lesson to the student’s age, level, and learning goals, ensuring that instruction is both effective and engaging. I am reliable, organized, and genuinely invested in my students’ progress.
