About Beryl
I am a passionate educator, who takes pride in the instruction of Science. My areas of this discipline are Biology and Chemistry, from year/ grade 6 to A level. I have helped countless number of students pass their exams; whether IGCSE, Pearson Edexcel, Checkpoints, Mocks and their school exams. Being a science educator, I am strongly dedicated to interactive professional classes and lessons, step- by-step scaffolded learning which is student centered and inspired by real world examples.

I graduated in 2021 from Moi University and was awarded a BEd. (Sc) Second class upper division (2:1) and I have been teaching all these years. I have taught in regular, inclusive and online schools and most of my students have been from all continents from the world.
Your online lessons will be very interactive since visual representation (videos and diagrams) are used. Problems will be solved step-by-step from simple to complex to ensure concept is understood and mastered. I embrace scaffolded instruction, where concepts are built on top of what has been learnt. Since students learn differently, I will tailor my lesson to match the student's learning pace, style and goals.
I have taught students of ages about 10 years to 18 years, typically year 6 to 13. Most of my lessons range from 40 minutes to 1 hour depending on age or level. But exam prep students may take longer.
